Located right in front of Shizukuishi Ski Resort, Shizukuishi Prince Hotel offers simple Western accommodations with mountain views. The property offers free shuttle services from JR Shizukuishi Train Station and JR Morioka Train Station, which are respectively a 20 and 60-minute drive away.

What was the highlight of Shizukuishi Prince Hotel
A fine place to visit for skiing, golf or simply a hot spring relaxation trip.
This was my third stay at this hotel, and as in the past everything was fine. The onsen at this hotel is excellent.
The hotel is aging a bit. It's still a nice place to stay, but will soon be requiring a bit more attention to upkeep.

食事おいしかった。 帰りのホテルのバス運転手さんに感謝です‼彼が席に携帯を置き忘れてしまったのに気づかず、後から運転手さんが発見して、私の携帯に連絡をくださいました。取りに行くまで、盛岡駅のバスターミナルで待っていてくださり、本当に助かりました
レストランの雰囲気が大食堂のようでした。広くてにぎやか。

這次入住王子酒店本來希望可以搭乘纜車欣賞夜空，可惜當天天氣不佳，纜車停駛。不過入住後房型升級，環境舒適，在王子飯店度過美好的一晚。

What was the highlight of Shizukuishi Prince Hotel
Disappointed and left out of pocket
Good size room (for Japan), good dinner and breakfast buffet and very nice onsen area.
I had to pay twice! As is normal in Japan (for foreigner at least), I was asked to pay at check in for the room, which I did using cash. Normally in Japan you get the invoice / receipt when you check out. Unfortunatly when I checked out they claimed they had received no money from me. Annoyingly as I had no receipt for my cash it was my word against their's. So I ended up losing an hour trying to reason with them, and while they pretended to check for my 'extra' cash. In the end we were getting no where, and I didn't want to lose my chance to go hiking that day so I ended up paying again under protest. Their efforts to find my payment were inadequate, and they have no CCTV in reception which would have proven my position. So I learned a lesson, always get a receipt whenever and wherever you are, even when this causes offense (as it did when I had precisely the same check in experience at my next hotel in Japan and then asked for the receipt). The hotel staff were professional and polite. But does not change the fact I paid twice - luckily it was only a one night stay.
